Who said test matches were boring? The Ashes this year never cease to replay in my inner proxima. For the first time in years have England produced 'louts' of mean paceman who seem to have Australia in a circle of fire.
The 'thoroughly professional' lineup has succumbed to brute force off English arms. A nascent team not so long ago has evolved ,with the likes of Harmison, Peitersen, Flintoff, and Jones coming of age.
This could well be the greatest English combination of all time. Having trimmed the ever increasing ego of their antipodean neighbours in the second test, the Englishmen look shred the dominance of the men in yellow.
I'd like to term this as the 'beginning of the end'. Man is mortal and rest assured the ageing Aussies have accepted this, a brutal fact.
'The second Botham' did i hear? With all due respects to Ian Botham, this guy is the ''First Flintoff''. The 'cavalier' all rounder whom the Aussies shrudder to think of. He without doubt is the fulcrum of the English bar. One of the few who have smelt blood and tasted the flesh of the Australians. If it swings England's way this year, the bulk of the accolades go to the ammo of Flintoff's barrel.
May the better team win !!
